Destination Wedding and Event Photography
Jean Marshall Photography is a destination wedding photography company that captures special moments all over the world. With over 10 years of experience, Jean is a seasoned photographer who knows how to capture the beauty of your day. She is also passionate about travel, so she's happy to accommodate your destination wedding needs.
Our Fees
Our destination wedding photography packages are the same as our regular wedding photography packages, with the addition of travel expenses. These expenses include airfare, hotel accommodations, rental car, vendor meals, and a per diem for the photographer.
1) Airfare
2) Baggage fees
3) Hotel accommodations (Ideally in the same hotel as the events. Typically, 2 nights minimum, but varies by event)
4) Rental car (typically 3 days, depending on the length of the event)
5) Vendor meals for the day of the event(s)
6) Per Diem: $60/day per photographer for meals on travel days and days not covering events
How Many People Need to Fly Out?
Only the photographer needs to fly out. We typically depart for the destination a day in advance to scout out your wedding venue and ensure that we will be on time on the day of your wedding. We will depart on the day after your last event, preferably at a later time.
Do I Need to Book the Flights?
You can book the flights yourself, but we would like to approve the details (flight times, transfers, layovers, etc.) ahead of time. If you would like to use your travel miles/rewards, we are happy to review all accommodations prior to booking the rooms.
Do You Offer Discounted Packages for Destination Weddings?
Unfortunately, we do not offer discounted packages for destination weddings. The prices are the same as our regular packages with the additional travel/lodging costs.
Can I Book Any Accommodations for You?
We ask that all accommodations be in safe and secure locations to ensure our safety and that of our equipment, and your photos. AirBnB’s are acceptable as well, however we again ask if they are in safe and secure neighborhoods with high ratings.
Wouldn’t it be Easier to Hire a Wedding Photographer Who Is Already Located at the Locations of My Wedding?
Not necessarily. Typically hiring photographers from your wedding location is not only more expensive but riskier in terms of receiving your images. I have extensive travel experience and have been all over the world. I'm confident that I can capture your special day in a way that is both beautiful and memorable.
